how to become a dental assistant

Wendy Paquette

Director of Curriculum

Ms. Paquette started Dental Assisting Institute more than 20 years ago with the intent on helping those dental assistants who moved to Florida or received on-the-job to become X-ray and EFDA certified in Florida so they could obtain employment. The school later began a 10 week dental assistant training program for those wanting to start a dental assisting career.

She is a Certified Public accountant and a Licensed Practical Nurse who holds a Bachelor Degree from USF.  She also holds a Florida X-ray and EFDA certification and has been in the dental field for over 40 years. Ms. Paquette has been universally endorsed by her peers and former students as having innovative leadership & talent development skills and an intuitive understanding of the dental industry.  She is thankful for the company’s continued growth and feels blessed to have such amazing teachers and students to work with!
